Let go and let God

This episode is dedicated to anyone who is having a hard time forgiving themselves or someone else and is seriously searching for a way to release the heavy burden of hatred, anger, and resentment.

Mamacita, you deserve to live a fulfilling life, one that is free from the shackles of bitterness. Don't let hatred drive your life or keep you prisoner to a painful past.

Forgiveness is the MOST miraculous act. It will transform your life in ways you never thought possible.

I'm not going to lie and say that the road to forgiveness is an easy one. However, it is one hundred percent worth the effort. You'll never regret it.

Once upon a time… before forgiveness

There was a period of time in my life, during my drawn out divorce process, when anger consumed my days and nights. I was heartbroken, depressed but mostly I was angry and resentful.

The possibility of forgiving myself or my ex seemed light years away. Luckily, I had the clarity to realize that the sentiment holding me back from rekindling peace and happiness was my inability to forgive myself and my ex.

I would arduously pray for the strength to rebuild my life and for the ability to find the compassion within myself to let go of all the rage and bitterness.

Today, I thank God for the gift of forgiveness and my biggest hope is to pass this gift over to anyone who might seek it. It is yours for the taking should you truly desire to regain your peace and joy.

I feel extremely passionate about the subject of forgiveness as I just released a book this year in which I dedicated an entire chapter on my journey towards forgiveness.

Why forgiveness is the key to your kingdom:

  1. It allows for you to be fully present by setting you free from the painful past.
  2. It opens up the space in your brain and heart for something positive.
  3. It's the ultimate act of self-love.
  4. It is the door to peace of mind.
  5. It allows for you to fully focus on your goals and dreams.

Forgiveness is not tolerance. Actually, forgiveness is a gateway to disassociating from that painful past experience so you can step into a new experience… as Princess Jasmine and Aladdin would say, “…a whole new world.”

Stepping into a whole new world…

Are you ready to embark on your journey towards forgiveness? What painful experience are you having difficulty forgiving? Is it someone else you can't forgive or is it yourself?

Listen to the episode and let me know how I can help you along your forgiveness journey. I mean it.

I will be praying for you as you travel the path and would love to have your thoughts and comments.

Confession: the creation of my podcast would not have been possible without forgiveness. The compassion I gained access to on the other side of forgiveness is the fuel for my content creation. It leaks out onto all my videos, posts and writing.

Allow compassion and forgiveness to be your super fuel too.
